First and foremost, we needed destinations with convenient access from Lisbon. The selected tour destinations fulfill this objective.
Secondly, and equally important, each destination had to cater to a specific type of photography.
Óbidos:
A medieval town with walls and a castle, providing high vantage points for landscape photography and opportunities for close-ups and surface-level architecture shots.
Óbidos Lagoon and Foz do Arelho:
Frequented by flamingos for bird photography and bird watching. The lagoon also offers diverse opportunities with kite surfers, creating varied photography possibilities.
Caldas da Rainha:
Its daily market provides excellent chances for people, fruits, and vegetable photography. The local park, frequented by both people and local birds, offers further photographic opportunities.

- We choose the hotels for this tour from the list provided above. However, before making any reservations, availability must be reconfirmed. If there is a need to switch to alternative hotels, the price can be adjusted accordingly.

The tour encompasses more than just the photography.
Gastronomy & wine – Gastronomy and wine are integral to experiencing the “Zona Oeste” of Portugal. Indulge in wines like Quinta do Gradil, and savor delightful pastries such as “Cavacas das Caldas”.
Additionally, engaging with local people is an integral part of the tour experience.

- Dedicated vehicle with water and snacks throughout the four-day tour.

Price, reservation and cancellation
- 3.000 Eur/person for a 2 people group
- 2.700 Eur/person for a 4 people group
- 2.430 Eur/person for a 6 people group
- Single supplement: 500 Eur

Reservation
Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 1.000 EUR deposit per person, securing your spot on the scheduled tour.
Please send us an email using the address provided in the “Information and Reservations” section below, and we will respond promptly.
Cancellation
The cancellation costs are as follows:
- Up to 90 days before the 1st Tour Day, bank fees are applied to the Reservation payment (*).
- Between 89 and 60 days before the 1st Tour Day, a 25% charge of the Reservation is incurred.
- Between 59 and 45 days before the 1st Tour Day, a 50% charge of the Reservation is incurred.
- Between 44 and 30 days before the 1st Tour Day, a 75% charge of the Reservation is incurred.
- 29 days or less before the 1st Tour Day, a 100% charge of the Reservation is incurred.
